DJ AR has made his home as a DJ in the San Francisco Bay Area for longer than he can remember, which isn’t saying much. His musical tastes cross wide swaths of the electronic spectrum - from house to psytrance to progressive to techno, to every contour of soundform in between.

DJ AR has wide experience playing clubs and parties, with emphasis on parties thrown outdoors. His venues range from the deserts of southern California, to the hills of the California Coast Ranges, to the old-growth forests of Oregon.

Having first experienced electronic dance music on the dancefloors of the southern California desert, his desire to make music outdoors on tremendous sound systems comes as no surprise. Indoors, AR rocks the Bay Area. Private parties keep him sharp, and regular gigs elude him.

AR is an accomplished studio DJ, releasing 12 full length CDs since 2002. His mixes have a personal feel, covering a wide range of musical and stylistic bases. Always innovative, interesting, and tasteful, there is something for everyone in his large and growing collection of quality mixes.
