Story
Ha. What can I say. I think I had more fun with this one than any other of all time. One of my favorite radio stations is the local R&B/soul station. This turned out to be a good summertime romp, for those who weren’t turned off by all the bloviating. (By the way, if anybody knows what “Bucky done” means, please shoot me an email. And no, I don’t agree with her politics. I like most of the words because they make no sense.) The spoken-word bit in the last song is, I believe, from Janis Joplin’s “Ball and Chain.”
Critic Says
A playful, heteroerogeneous collection of less-than-serious house-type music drawing on disco, hip-hop, R&B. If you always take your techno dead-serious, skip it.
